Access*: Interdisciplinary Journal of Student Research and Scholarship (Teaching and Learning Center)
ACCESS*: Interdisciplinary Journals of Students Research and Scholarship is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to showcasing outstanding scholarship by both graduate and undergraduate students across disciplines represented on the UW Tacoma campus. ACCESS* will accept submissions of student work in a variety of genres, including original case-studies, research papers, personal essays, field notes, chapters or sections of theses or capstone papers (revised into stand-alone papers). However, because we are a journal centered on student research and scholarship, we will not be accepting works of creative writing. Our goal at ACCESS* is to showcase strong academic work done by students, and we welcome papers written for any course, major or discipline. Submissions are accepted on an annual basis and will be published through Digital Commons after successful review.
ACCESS* is committed, not just to publication, but to education—helping students throughout the publication process and collaborating with them to create publishable papers, giving them the chance to make their work visible to prospective employers or graduate schools, as well as peers and academics around the world.
Tahoma West is a student-published literary arts magazine dedicated to developing and promoting the arts at UW Tacoma by providing a way for students, faculty, alumni, and staff to publish their work.
