Abstract
The article discusses the two major female characters in the film Minority Report. The article argues that the character of Agatha, played by Samantha Morton, is in fact the structural center of the film, and that her treatment is indicative of the tendency to acknowledge the progress of feminism, but the resolve stories in keeping with a patriarchal status quo, in this case with a violent death of both Agatha and the Cruise character's mother.
