Abstract
Karankawa, the debut poetry collection from Iliana Rocha which won the 2014 Donald Hall Prize for Poetry, is a sometimes uncomfortable, yet thoroughly enticing, lyric exploration of what it means to grapple with the influences that build and shape a person’s identity.
