Abstract
The fictional SRI investment firm “Good Business Investors” is evaluating a significant investment in either Uber or Lyft in the newly emerging ride-sharing business. In this mini-case, students are asked to evaluate the alignment of this proposed investment with the firm’s stated values and make a recommendation to management as to this alignment and which firm would be the more appropriate investment. Students will gain insight into the values-based investment movement as well as skills in the evaluation of investment options.
