Abstract
Imagine a television commercial that reports “Seven of ten nurse educators recommend simulation for their learners.” Most of us would automatically convert this frequency into a percentage and smile in agreement with the 70% of nurse educators quoted. But what if we wanted to know how all the nurse educators responded to this question? This month's column will explore the uses and abuses of frequencies.
