Amanda Henritze - Rethinking Public Space at UWT
Abstract
The University of Tacoma site has a large amount unmaintained, unused lots. There is a high concentration of restaurants and commercial buildings on the eas of the site, from north to south. Although there restaurants, there are no commercial grocery stores in the near proximity of the site. This can put a strain on students when looking for healthier options, or shopping for the ones who live on campus.
