Abstract
This paper discusses the implications of social work education policy on non-discrimination in the United States. It explores the social antecedents of the policy and the nature of discrimination in education and in social work education. Through a discussion of value considerations, social workers internationally are helped to understand how social work education policy impacts on the nature of social work education.
