Abstract
This article explores the use of the research poem in presenting the lived experience of students in human service practice courses. This inno- vative method of qualitative research allows for the presentation of data in a compressed yet emotionally evocative manner. The article brie‰Â_ y ex- plores the uses of the research poem, and presents a methodology that is positioned on the boundaries of the humanities and social research. Two research poems are presented as an illustration of the method.
